Dear Future Resident,

Rebuilding Senior Living was the goal when construction of the Gables at Green Pastures began in August of 1999. This dream became reality when the facility opened its doors on April 1, 2001. Serving the Union County residents and surrounding residential communities, the Gables offers 24-hour nursing care in a "catered" environment designed with neighborhoods specialized to meet many different levels of care. Skilled, intermediate and dementia care are offered in three separate neighborhoods with hospice and respite care available in all three.

Should you be coming to reside at the Gables long-term, you will find many special events featured daily. You can enjoy strolls in the nearby park or facility courtyards, feeding the ducks gathered on the nearby pond and visiting with children that regularly take part in our intergenerational programs.

If your plan calls for short-term rehabilitation or a respite from your normal routine, you will find our skilled neighborhood to feel much like a hotel. We offer in-room service for those unable to enjoy our finely decorated and fully serviced dining rooms, equipped with ornamental fireplaces and hardwood floors for your comfort.
